Policy and Training

GEO group is a multinational company with a market cap of over 2.7B and is leading provider of corrections services in Australia. GEO group Australia partnered with Inception Strategies to develop an exploratory framework for its 'Continuum of Care' commitment to reduce the re-offending of prisoners once they are released back into the community. 

Policy Development

Inception Strategies developed a number of targeted briefs for GEO group Australia in the following areas including: Community Involvement, Family Training, Prisoner Training, Staff Training and Public Relations. 
 

Consultation Process

Inception Strategies then packaged these briefs into a presentation for GEO group staff at the prisons. A number of well attended and successful workshops were held to test the framework and ensure it accurately reflected the needs and experiences of staff and prisoners on the ground.

Expansion of Service

The intelligence and data captured from the Continuum of Care partnership project was used to support the development of training needs for a large additional prison that has recently come online within the GEO group network.
